Lullventyr

Questions parents ask

Plain answers. Where a policy says more, it is linked.

What is Lullventyr?

Lullventyr reads bedtime stories aloud in a parent’s own voice. Record a short passage to create personalized narration, with acted characters and read-along text. New narration may require another recording after the reference expires.

What do I have to record?

One passage, about a minute long, read aloud in a quiet room from your phone or computer. Lullventyr checks the take while you record and tells you if it is too quiet, too noisy or too short. The reference expires after one hour without use; stories already generated remain replayable.

What happens to my voice recording?

We process your recording through specialist voice providers to create narration for your account. We do not use it to train shared AI models. You can remove your voice in account settings; the Voice Policy explains retention and deletion.

What is free?

Every account starts free: five stories a month, read or listened to, narrated by our built-in storytellers. A story you have opened stays readable and playable for the rest of that month.

What does Premium add?

Premium narrates every story in the library in your own recorded voice. Plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time from your account; the plans page has the current prices.

Can little ones use it on their own?

You set things up; then Story mode gives them a simple screen of their own, with your controls locked behind a PIN. Application analytics is disabled in Story mode. Content delivery, plan-usage requests and security logging still operate.

Which devices does it work on?

Any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install; recording works from the browser too.

Which languages are available?

The library and narration are in English today.

Which stories are in the library?

Well-known fairy tales and bedtime stories, each with a cover, chapters and a read-along text, sorted by genre, by storyteller and by where the tale comes from. The stories page lists every one.

Can the AI get things wrong?

Yes. Narration, pictures and any tale you ask us to write are made with AI, and like every AI system — including the big chat assistants — it can make mistakes: a word read wrongly, a picture that does not match the page, or a made-up story that says something odd or untrue. Read or listen to a new story yourself before you share it, and tell us if something is wrong so we can fix it.

How do I cancel or delete my account?

Both from your account page. Cancelling a plan keeps your account on the free plan; account deletion is scheduled after cancellation and the remaining paid period. Contact support for a separate privacy request, including prompts and chat history.
