Voice & Biometric Data Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Lullventyr LLC processes an adult account holder’s voice recording to create story narration for that account. Voice models may be subject to biometric privacy laws. This policy explains the purpose, retention and deletion of that information and supplements our Privacy Policy.
Your recording and consent
Record only your own adult voice. Do not submit a child’s voice or another person’s recording. Before recording or uploading, you must agree to voice processing. We process the recording, transcript and voice model to generate narration and check recording quality. We retain a record of the consent you gave and any withdrawal.
How voice data is used
Specialist voice-processing providers receive your recording to produce narration. We do not sell, lease or trade your voice data, use it to identify you, or use it to train shared AI models. Generated narration is for your account, not other families’ accounts.
Retention schedule
- Recording and reference information — available for one hour after the latest use to prepare or generate narration. After that, a new recording may be needed. Reference files are subject to automatic storage expiration after one day without refresh. Physical removal, including older storage versions, is asynchronous and can take longer than expiration.
- Provider voice models — our default processing requests deletion of each temporary provider model after generation. Failed deletion requests need retry and reconciliation; removal is not instantaneous across providers.
- Generated narration — retained so you can replay the stories, until you remove the personalized book or your voice, or account deletion is completed.
- Consent records — retained during the account’s lifetime to document your choices and removed in the normal account-deletion process.
Destruction and withdrawal
Removing your voice in account settings stops further use through your account and requests deletion of its recording and generated narration. You may also contact us to withdraw consent or request deletion. Storage and provider cleanup can take additional time; contact us if you need help confirming that a request has completed.
Biometric identifiers and information are to be destroyed when the original collection purpose has been satisfied or within three years of your last interaction with us, whichever occurs first, where Illinois law applies. Where Texas law applies, destruction must occur within a reasonable time, no later than one year after the collection purpose expires, subject to applicable legal exceptions. These limits do not extend the shorter operational retention schedule above.
