Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Lullventyr LLC (“Lullventyr”, “we”, “us”) provides storytelling services for families. This policy explains the information we process and how to contact us about it.
Adult-managed accounts
Accounts, recording, story creation, purchases and support are for adults aged 18 or older. Children may listen through an adult’s account under that adult’s supervision. Do not create an account for a child or submit a child’s voice recording.
Information we collect and use
- Account information — your email, chosen nickname, preferences and sign-in identifiers, to manage your account. Our sign-in provider handles passwords; we cannot read them.
- Voice information — your recording, its transcript, voice-processing information and generated narration, to create and play stories in your voice. We also record your consent and withdrawal. See our Voice & Biometric Data Policy.
- Stories and messages — library selections, listening usage, preferences, feedback, and any prompts, audience age ranges or conversations you submit to create tales. We use these to provide the requested features and manage plan allowances.
- Support — your contact details, messages and correspondence, to answer requests and investigate problems. Please leave out passwords, payment-card numbers, medical information and unnecessary details about children.
- Billing — plan, subscription, payment and refund records. Our payment processor handles payment-card details; we do not store card numbers.
- Technical information — network and device information, service requests, errors and security logs, to deliver content, protect accounts and operate the service.
Signing in with Google
Google sign-in requests openid, email and profile. We retain your email address, its verification status and Google account identifier for sign-in and account management. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar, and do not use Google sign-in data for advertising or model training. Account deletion removes the sign-in data we hold as part of the deletion process. You can also revoke access in your Google account permissions.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers for hosting, sign-in, payments, email, support, AI story creation and voice processing. They receive information needed to perform those services. For example, voice providers process recordings to generate narration, and story and chat providers process the prompts and conversations you submit. Our infrastructure includes services in the United States; provider processing locations may differ.
We do not sell or rent personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not use your voice recording to train shared AI models. We may also disclose information when required by law or as reasonably necessary to protect users, security or legal rights.
Cookies and browser storage
We use browser storage for sign-in and preferences. Only after you allow optional analytics on this browser, Google Analytics on adult-facing pages measures feature use, catalog activity, plan steps, errors and performance using a cookie-based identifier and device information. Advertising features are disabled. Our application analytics excludes search text, prompts, support messages and recordings. Subscription events may also be reported with plan and amount under a coded identifier derived from your account, separate from your browser identifier. We disable application analytics in Story mode and the try-a-story experience. Necessary content delivery, account requests, usage limits and security logging still operate.
- Essential storage — sign-in information, security checks, Story mode and its PIN protection, preferences, and temporary steps such as checkout and voice setup. Session storage is normally cleared when its tab closes; local storage can remain until the app removes it or you clear site data. Signing out removes the app’s saved sign-in session.
- Optional analytics cookies — Google Analytics uses
_gaand_ga_*cookies to distinguish browsers and measure sessions. We configure new analytics cookies to expire after 180 days without extending expiry on visits. Browser settings may shorten this. Cookie expiry does not delete data already received by Google. - Your cookie choice — we save your analytics choice in local storage on this browser and site until you change it or clear site data. Analytics is off before you choose, when storage is unavailable, and when Global Privacy Control is enabled.
Use the cookie settingsat the end of our web privacy page to change your choice at any time. Changing a choice reloads the page and removes accessible analytics cookies. Rejecting analytics does not disable sign-in, purchases or playback. This browser choice does not delete past analytics data or control the separate server-reported subscription events described above; contact support about those records.
Your browser can block cookies and clear cookies or local storage. Clearing site data can sign you out, reset preferences and remove this device’s Story mode PIN protection. External sign-in and payment pages use their own storage and privacy policies. Learn more about Google Analytics cookies.
Children’s privacy
We do not ask children to submit personal information. Adults should use fictional names in story prompts and avoid including a child’s contact details, precise location, health information or other unnecessary personal details. Free-text messages can contain information you choose to include. Story mode uses online services to load and play content; the web Story mode PIN is stored on your device. We do not show advertising in Story mode.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact support@lullventyr.com so we can investigate and arrange appropriate removal. Parents can use the same contact to request review or deletion of information concerning their child and to ask us to stop further collection.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information and saved content to provide your account and requested features. Support correspondence, billing records and security records may be retained as needed to resolve requests, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations or handle disputes. Voice retention is described in our Voice Policy.
Account settings let you request account deletion and show when it is scheduled. The normal account-deletion process follows cancellation and the end of any remaining paid period. Contact us for a privacy request that needs separate handling, including deletion of prompts or chat history and copies held by service providers. Removing access and completing deletion from storage are separate steps; required records and limited backups may remain until their applicable retention periods end.
